Stock 07 RXP 215 top speed...

My buddy claims his stock RXP runs 70
on GPS. I've seen as high as 68 in some reviews.
Anyone have a stock 07 that went that fast?
Only thing he had done was a S/C rebuild sometime last year.
Just curious as he is already running his mouth
that he will pull away from my 14 PX.
I'm at 8 hours and have recorded a 67.1 mph GPS speed.
What do y'all think?

It's possible. All the 215 RXP skis 2004-2007 run about 68 MPH give or take 2 MPH. Getting one that runs only 66 is about as rare as getting one that runs all the way up to 70. Weather conditions, water conditions, elevation, and many other factors play a role in speed as well.

I bet you could holeshot him and it would take him awhile to catch you, if you know how to ride it from idle.

Yeah I'm pretty confident I have the hole shot. I do love the power but the main reason
I chose the PX was to better handle the Chop on Lanier and it has exceeded my expectations.
Awesome machine so far.

My 05 rxp ran 70 on glass with only 1/4 tank. But I did the opas block offs and reverse bucket trim. But bone stoc was only 67-68. Now, well.. I mail P-X's a postcard when I race them but it cost me some $$$.

My 07 ran 69.9 completely stock at about 8100. This was back in 07.

I have the 07 rxp215, with the rxpx 260 supercharger , 14lb injectors and solas 14/19 impeller and my ski runs 70 mph on gps at 8180 rpm, I'm not sure how a stock 215 can do that?

My old 07 Rxp with a Stage 1, was hit'n around 71.9 on GPS. It would smoke other stock RXP's, so I know stocks are not hit'n 70

I've only been on one pretty much stock RXP, 04, OPAS delete plates, RIVA air intake, no sock on air filter. It would do 70 mph on GPS.
